The seminar will look at different soft and hard measures to foster cycling in the host city of Malaga, and in more cities across Europe. The PTP-Cycle session will introduce the outcomes of local implementation activities in Burgos targeting households and students, and incentives and opportunities for the up-take of personalised travel planning projects in Spain.
The 3-day seminar will count with the participation of different cities such as Utrecht and Gent, the 2MOVE2 project partners cities (Stuttgart, Tel-Aviv Yafo and Brno), as well as Burgos, Madrid, Torres Vedras and A Coruña, as members of the CIVINET Spain & Portugal network.
The rich programme includes three site visits to schowcase urban mobility measures which have been implemented in Malaga, including the city’s cycling infrastructure planning.
The event is organised in collaboration with the CIVITAS Thematic Groups on “Safety and Security” and “Car Independent Lifestyles”, and PTP- Cycle, in the framework of the CIVITAS 2MOVE2 project annual meeting and the CIVITAS Spain and Portugal Annual Forum.
